Kids being sick and keeping me up in the middle of the night on holiday means at least I get to draft. Didn't feel thaaaat good but trophied after a 0-2 start.

Mutinous Massacre is... certainly a card. Cast it 4 of the games, so the rest of the deck only had to pull together 3 wins to trophy.

Got around to trying the new set, opening up my trophy deck thread. I don't anticipate playing as much as I did with FF, likely winding down a bit in general. This deck seemed good though, made it really hard for them to block.

Vincent claimed 2 more victims on the way to another trophy. I think 15 damage from every other game came from the Cie'ths.

Forgot to post a very similar deck to this with Clive, Vivi and Telah instead of Dion, but back to back trophies on returning to drafts. Choco was great!

After scrubbing out of the first attempt, I rustled up another attempt under wifely duress and managed to get there for 2 Final Fantasy Boxes. Every opening hand looked horrendous but I drew the rares on key turns a few times, and I think 3 opponents were colour screwed. Yay!

4 Trophies in a row now I think? This draft I think the games went really weirdly. I never had a Fenrir before turn 8, Jill never bounced a token, no one ever cast Cornered by Black Mages on me, I just attacked with land cyclers, Omega giving no stuns, 3/3 Robots and nothing else the whole time.

Back to back with another UR deck, but this was not so much UR spells as a red aggro deck with some strong blue commons in it. Never drew Seifer, sealed a couple of games in my favour, but most of the work was from Sabotenders and Wyverns.

Had a couple of poorly performing drafts, then bounced back with this pretty fun 7-1. I find UR to be kinda overdrafted usually so I don't tend to get this kind of deck often, but I enjoy them. Vivi never did anything but get killed on the spot.

Followed up with my first clean 7-0 of the format. 41 card special as I couldn't decide what to cut and I needed to attend to a child so I just left it. Basic go wide plan managed to overcome multiple incredible decks with Ultima in them.

A few more almost-trophies, managed to get there for number 2 with this failed attempt at first picking and forcing Zodiark. Black was hard cut off from the right, but at least I got passed a Jecht from the left, and secured with 7th win by finally drawing him and blasting them with the Final Aeon!

Another trophy with UW fliers. Elspeth is obviously incredibly dumb, but it only got me one game. The other time I played it, it got Doppelgang'd and I died instantly XD

Fired up a 'Mixed up' style chaos draft while watching one of my offspring through the night. Ajani auto-won a few games (lol Modern Horizons) but cruised up to 7 wins even when I didn't see him.

That's a few trophies in a row, but I definitely enjoys 'pairs of large animals' theme deck a lot more than normal.

Another Alchemy trophy. Wasn't sure if I should have been playing my 6th Underdogs but I figured 5 was enough. Ball Lightning equipment was deece, but the 2 drop twins is probably one of the top 10 cards in the whole format.
