From the comic strip Calvin and Hobbes, Calvin, a six-year-old who is regularly tackled by his pet tiger Hobbes, turns the tables and attempts to tacle Hobbes, who is lying supine with his paws up. Hobbes bares his teeth and unsheathes his claws before Calvin can make the landing. Calvin says "I keep forgetting that five of his six ends are pointy when he lies like that."
