I wonder if you can still sign up for the artist pre-sale at www.weirdal.com/tour/ - I did it last night and got the code emailed to me this morning.

(My employer moved to an ICHRA for next year, which seems to give basically the same plans as MNsure but with work paying for part/all of the premium.)

HealthPartners, at least for my MNsure-adjacent plan options.

I was about to sign up for them (individual coverage.) Only didn't because one of my doctors was having technical issues with them so wasn't sure when they'd be in network.

Glad with that happenstance decision - I didn't really want Medica.

How many billiard balls can it flush, though? I accept no less than seven.

This is what happens when you tell everyone that you're outsourcing your printing press to Iowa.

So this is why there's a sudden influx of rewards debit cards...

Expand that to "Death to CVS" and I'm also in.

Kaohly Her.

I'd come over and debate you, but I'm currently stuck in my unplowed alley because not enough people paid our block captain to get someone to plow it.

It is genuinely weird to have our results known on this side of the river before Minneapolis has determined theirs.

Y'all also need to figure out RCTab. Over here in Saint Paul we've already figured out who our next mayor is. 😉
November 5, 2025 at 2:46 PM
I'm not terribly surprised. I was considering Her for a while (Saint Paul has a lot of issues still, and maybe a shakeup would help) and only went back to Carter after seeing her non-committal answers to most of those problems.

Merging the library system with Ramsey County is a better solution than what she casually said (merging with the school system.)
November 5, 2025 at 1:30 PM
It didn’t help that there were no Saint Paul DFL endorsements or conventions this year, which would’ve put more energy behind Carter.
November 5, 2025 at 6:11 AM
There’s a lot of resentment on how Saint Paul has fared the past few years. Even if it’s out of the mayor’s control, it wasn’t a great atmosphere to be an incumbent, and Her was able to seize on that.
