It may have changed since I grew up and lived there, but at the time I was living there, Montreal had the 2nd largest Jewish community after New York City. And yes, our bagels are better than New York's and our smoked meat is better than pastrami.

It's NOT his first sporting event since re-election. In the 15 days he's been in office, he's spent 4 days playing golf. 26% of his presidency. It's a good thing I suppose, in that it keeps him away from the White House.

Nope. You are definitely there, and in normal status. I haven't blocked you. I love reading your pearls of civil outrage. In all fairness, Meta's algorithm's suck and I've dropped from 100% to about 20% participation over there and it keeps dropping. I can have adult conversations here.

Not to be pessimistic, but... his supporters will hear whatever FOX, OANN, New York Post, and whatever any other far right-wing rag will spin for them. We're not picking and delivering oranges, limes, lemons, etc because the workers are afraid to show up. They'll spin it as a problem with no water.
