Gonna see a lot of empty platitudes from Repubs today about the anniversary of 9/11. Coming from a party that enthusiastically supports a guy who ordered a terrorist attack on the US Capitol — and often celebrates his terrorist attack — those platitudes are less than meaningless

An impressively insincere statement through and through. I’ll say this for JD Vance — he’s a creep, but he’s an open creep. Far from hiding his creepiness, he advertises it.

Cool that Beltway media is treating, credibly, the idea that Trump is carefully weighing the complex national security implications of bombing Iran — with America’s best interests at heart — as if he were loyal to this country and mentally competent enough to have a go with a pair of scissors.
