As of this morning, in spite of the judge's order, we are unable to access our agency's funding and have not been paid for expenses billed for December. We draw down funds through an electronic system and it has been shuttered since yesterday morning. We will not make payroll if this continues.

Late last night our private non profit received notice from the OMB that all of our federal grants have been "paused". This includes both existing grants and grants that have been awarded, but not yet in place. Our agency supports services to the homeless. This is a nightmare.

This handsome elderly gentleman cat passed from this life yesterday. Graham was indeed "the best kitty. There are no words for how much I miss him already.
