Everyday, I wake up, eat a piece of humble pie, coffee up, and write. I hide how much I write (and thrift) because my husband might realize why dishes are never done and clothes are never folded. I’ve published here and there. Working on a manuscript.

I love when a poem invites me back in to read it again and again and gain more of the meaning. This is such a poem. This poem has such a unique narrative and captivating images.
