I felt the same way but at some point I realized those people paid a lot of money to be there so they want to experience the Olé ritual wether it's appropriate or not.

For me it's "The Word for World is Forest" closely followed by "The Lathe of Heaven". Both are from Ursula K LeGuin who happens to be favorite my writer by a long shot.
