I read fewer books in 2024 than 2023 (40 vs 54), but so many excellent ones. My faves were JAMES by Percival Everett and ALL THE COLORS OF THE DARK by Chris Whitaker. Also loved The Future, Just Another Missing Person, Notes on an Execution, and The God of the Woods. Books, ftw!

Just finished The Familiar by Leigh Bardugo: A delicious blend of historical fantasy, magical realism, and romance. Although I don’t read much in the magical/fantasy realm, I love Bardugo’s books. A great way to get my fix while awaiting the next in her Ninth House series.
