how i feel after striking Steel Magnolias
a mannequin head used for storing wigs is sitting on a plywood shelf in a backstage dressing room. On the head, dimly lit from above with a warm, harsh LED light, there is a very unkempt blond wig. It has wild, frizzy curls and waves drifting off in every which direction. A hairbrush is standing by within reach, ready to tame the beast of a headpiece.
