I definitely agree, it feels like alot of games are overflowing with offensive options but lack interesting defensive ones, leading to pressure sequences just feeling like a string of 50/50s.

Yeah, the DNC had a chance to shift significantly when Biden was more popular than Biden going into 2020, but they chose to prioritize the status quo over a probable winner that might hurt some of their donors. Really have no clue what they can change without risking their current donor base, tbh.

I'd like a reason to look forward to a DNC candidate winning, not just breathe a sigh of relief that the RNC didn't win. I'd like to think that's why they've not done great with the voters these past few elections, but America baffles me when it comes to why people do or do not vote.

It'll be interesting to see how things shake out from here on out. MAGA and the new wave of republicans seems to be the new direction for the RNC, but I haven't been able to tell where the DNC might head, they've stubbornly stuck with not having any real hard stances.

Willing to throw 2 mil into capcom cup prize pool, but not 2 mil into putting out one or two more characters a year feels a bit weird to me.

It does surprise me that seasons are only 4 characters a year, I believe them when they say it takes an very long time to make a character, but this was the rate 5 released characters and they had other fighting games going on as well. Makes it feel like they're not actually committing to SF6.
