To be fair, they're pushing back against what Gorton/Hughes said 6 months ago with the benefit of hindsight.

I don't think there's only one way to build a winning team. I'm confident Gorton/Hughes can recognize circumstances have changed since the Caps series and adjust accordingly.

Not a good fit with the new coach at Grasshopper, apparently. He's been doing well with the Canadian national team, though. He is sorely missed in Montréal.
