Took me a while to get around to watching it but great job. Big fan of the visceral and more down to earth approach to action scenes, the "Atomic Blonde staircase fight" type of vibe.

Old sci-fi can be such an acid trip. A bit out of the blue but if you're in the market for "weird German shit" I strongly recommend Felidae, 1994. It's an animated film noir-ish murder mystery involving cats. Suffice to say it's not the kind of thing Disney would ever put out, now or in the past.

Highguard was condemned to failure before it even had a chance. Don't care for f2p hero shooters myself but would've been nice if people engaged with it in good faith at least instead of milk it for a certain type of content.

Shady Sands isn't the only victim here, there's a lot more of it in S2. It just feels like they took the easiest, most basic route requiring the least amount of creative effort. I suppose the show is just cheaper/simpler to make if a lot of the "stuff" is just gone.

I'm enjoying the show a lot but was also kinda disappointed with how some of the background stuff was handled.
Problem is they don't meaningfully iterate or build on the geo-political situation the games have established, they just kinda threw away all the chess pieces and cleared the board.
