The current state of affairs is so abysmal that the only way (imho) to avoid surrendering to despair and insanity is to recognise that we're in the presence of a massive, uncontrolled rightward thrust of a pendulum. Pendulums, by nature, swing back.

In the battle for collective survival, the mobilising potential of utopias at large is largely underrated. As this battle takes the shape of a final showdown, leaving it aside might become a fatal mistake. My take in Lëtzebuerger Land dated 27 February.
