Went Black Friday shopping with friends today and everyone seemed to understand the assignment. Most of us were dressed in holiday wear. I guess it's the official start of the holiday season! (Unless you count Hallmark Christmas movies, which I do.) Did you go shopping today? Share your adventures.

I went to see Wicked last night and it was AMAZING! Wore green in its honor. I cried so hard around the general time frame of Defying Gravity, it took about 5 minutes to ground myself so I could stop. And I kept thinking about how it could be applied to what's happening in our country right now.

When you listen to your body, and put off something in order to rest or have fun, you're trusting yourself to do it some other time. Trusting that it will flow & fall into place when you get back to it. And taking another step away from a hustle culture that has hurt you.

At some pt, I'll see Wicked. So I spent about an hour tonight wanting to buy a fuschia duster (to pair with green), though it's not a good color, and won't match most of what's in my capsule wardrobe. I'm almost sure I won't end up buying it, so I already miss it. Consolation plan: Wicked earrings.
