Facebook lately as been full of AI slops. I cannot count the number of cakes defying basic physics I saw. And while I would love to be able to leave the platform, I still need it to connect with some family members/friends and for local information - anyone else in the situation?

Zuck goes full Musk, dumps Facebook fact-checking program
Meta will replace it with so-called community notes like on the X platform. The content moderation changes won’t be rolled out in the EU for now.

Very interesting thread on the recent announcements by Meta regarding fact-checking! The election of DJT will have impact for online content moderation and not only in the US.
