Played both games, loved them both. While for me the first game had the better story, I really loved the character designs in the second game.
And the first encounter with Morlund and his crew is so wholesome and fun, that it is one of my favourite video game moments. 😅

I'd go with two franchises.
1. A Plague Tale with two games. Both games of this series have an awsome setting and a very emotional story. And their music score underlines the experience perfecly.
2. The @orcsmustdie.com series is a fun mix of Tower defense and 3rd person shooter.
