Yeah, I’ve seen it and loved it. I just kind of assumed Stede was created for the show because the whole character premise seemed so crazy. AC: Black Flag came out in 2013-ish, so him being the first named person you run into in-game triggered my manic Wikipedia search. lol

The pacing on this show is so fucking good.

I recently started playing Black Flag, only to find out that Stede Bonnet was a real person, and then immediately spent the next 20 minutes on Wikipedia… so Assassin’s Creed has its educational moments. lol

And somehow there are people who deal with this for a whole season??? And they choose to keep living there??? Weird...
