Years ago, I worked for a newspaper called the Diamond Valley News, named after the former Diamond Valley Shire and the Diamond Creek, which was named after a prize bullock that drowned in it. Everyone called the paper the DV News. The drowned bullock is in Diamond Creek Primary School logo.
