They can take down signs but they can't take away our ability to work towards voting for Mark Carney and the Liberals. Our local candidates team had to move our canvassing training today to a larger venue because so many of us want to help. Unprecedented in this area! But wonderful too.

I'm not just voting, but I'm volunteering with the Liberals to work on getting others to vote. Even if I'm in a deeply conservative riding, I can work on helping people understand the harm that PP would cause to our country if he ever became the PM!

The CNO is my preferred source of news. I subscribed and they have great articles and news daily, and they employ top tier journalists!

I believe she's his campaign manager...and she posts pictures of herself wearing her MAGA hat. Luckily for the rest of us she appears to be bad at campaigning. It sounds like it was her idea to not allow press access to PP. Sound bites and slogans won't cut it this time

Yes that's true, the NDP deserves some credit for those programs too. It was nice watching the parties work together to accomplish things for Canadians.

Also, it's clear from the CSIS report that there are ongoing risks of interference, and Poilevre refusing to get security clearance suggests that he very likely can't. I honestly can't imagine why he won't get it if he legitimately can. I think that's worse than skipping the TVA debate
March 25, 2025 at 6:59 PM
He's doing the legitimate debates, including one in French. TVA wants a minimum of $300000 from the participants. How would people feel if CTV or Global did the same? I think it's far more harmful that the Conservatives aren't allowing journalists to accompany them

I'd forgotten about the Bitcoin! I was able to retire at 65 instead of having to wait until 67, thanks to the Liberals, and now we have access to dental care, again thanks to the liberals! PP would have taken that away, he has his pension and benefits and he doesn't care about us
March 25, 2025 at 1:12 PM
Losing daycare will far surpass any tax benefits to families who need it. And dental and pharmacare would also be gone. Actually since we'd stand a good chance of being taken over by the States if the Cons win, we'd lose everything anyway. I will never ever vote for Conservatives in Canada.

At this point the only reason he could have for the refusal isn't that he won't get it, but very likely he can't get it. There is likely something that he doesn't want Canadians to know
March 23, 2025 at 9:46 PM
I totally agree, he's absolutely the wrong person to be our Prime Minister. He has no real leadership skills, certainly he's had 20 years to demonstrate that he does, but I've seen no evidence of it. His lack of concern for Canadians is alarming.

I'm not as sure Poilievre will do well in a debate, he doesn't do well in situations that aren't strictly controlled and managed in his favour. He doesn't have a great ability to pivot during discussions and slogans and soundbites won't be helpful in a debate, except for his already committed base
