Even more so, I’m tired of these same people acting one way on Facebook and entirely different IRL. They’re all about family on Facebook but when it comes down to it they’re nowhere to be found. Kick rocks.

I agree, but also, make sure to leverage (and support!) online groups like the Internet Archive (archive.org) who are fighting to keep knowledge freely available for all.
