They must have referred to it a hundred times as if it's some tiny immutable place, comparable in size to Blackpool. Maybe they don't want to namecheck any one locality in case they inadvertently imply a real identifiable hotel in some remote spot, but the SWs look really ignorant on this one.

Riley and Coe is a terrific programme e.g. Prolapse session very recently.

If its the talking you liked about the old show, their interplay - though less often now - is just as good as RadMac.

What you really dislike is change from how things were when you were younger - start and finish of it.

Sadly that's because so much of the electorate are now racists and fascists - some have gotten that way through basic stupidity and lazyness of accepting the lies told to them by Facebook, but they've still ended up that way - and the BBC is only pandering to their shouty ignorance

My gripe with C4 is that you can't put the window in the background - at least not behind a maximised foregrounded window - while the ads play (4 minute+ at times). The ads stop and wait for it to be foregrounded - feels almost petty! Be good if browsers killed their ability to detect that.

Absolute pish re. the "or road" part of this - there may be a good number of reasons why you legitimately would be opting for the road over a cycle path

How many cats are there? From top of my head I've got:

Beatrix
Bobby
VP
Wilson
Willow
Violet
Smudge
Potato

Pretty sure I'll be missing some. (& sorry if this is mixing any of these up with cats from other places)

That suggests that all similes and metaphors are equally overused/annoying/facile/anodyne/vapid/faux-inspirational though, which isn't remotely true.

I'd bin most of the cars as well as the guns personally

...that really the major all-knowing-Daisy-Buchanan-style-"I've-just-gotten-so-cynical(-about-frontends-100-years-from-now!)" that you think it is? Not saying jumping all over the latest-and-greatest JS-things while they've still got afterbirth on their README isn't a thing, just that its not...

Alt take - maybe they want to lower barriers of entry for potential customers and their non/less-technical employees, who'll be able to follow some web GUI abstraction to e.g. command some aspect of a VM, read an exposed set of logs between a pair of times, or any number of things sitting behind...

Bastards also grab your basket off you at self-serve, effectively saying "you can only use the store's packing shelf if you have a trolley". I get that the basket would set off an alarm if taken outside, but the package shelf is between the tills and the outside you prick.

Why would pros buy it then, if its likely to get them a bad reputation and kill their business. Or is this saying pros don't buy trade paint? I don't find this AO to be very well expressed - it's not clear who the "they" is.

During the bellringing protest against the water company, when Martyn threatened to sack Neil just for protesting, and in front of witnesses, I thought Neil should have taken him some kind of legal action against him. Evil Martyn should have got some comeuppance for that slice of nastiness.

Literally all this OP is saying is they absolutely love the Beatles and they're a bit meh about Dylan. No need for the bitchiness - just say it as-is

I don't get why you'd say that in direct response to this clip - she got him to proudly own up to exactly what they're doing and the reason they're doing it. He as good as yelled at her that she's damn right he ordered the Code Red - what more could you want from the interviewer?

but if web dev was still about doing everything on servers with cgi/php/classic-ASP, don't you think those same people would be the ones doing that work in that alternate universe, and to the same - utterly variable - standard?

Maybe you're saying there's something innate to front-end development that makes the developers who do it sloppier (OOSOOM? Nah, bugs still come back to you, they're just harder to reproduce from an average user bug report vs a server log msg), ...

Had v similar thought when I read it earlier. May just be the way its written up, but she appeared to be putting most or all responsibility on the state, and none on the family to question some elderly folks' continued driving, as hard as conversations might be with personalities etc
