I call this, the Neronian Jericho. Neronian after emperor Nero, whom he and his citizenry were quite content letting the roman empire burn to the ground in 64 CE and Jericho, after the city depicted in the bible for its walls. I view this picture as an adequate depiction of the tragically narrow-minded world view The pantheon is the dwellings of those of prominence: the wealthy elite, politicians, influencers and those they want to be in proximity to. The building in the middle is a bank, their obsession with greed The church is their hollow zealotry towards religion But the place where they actually reside is the cave in the bottom-right, a cave that has been around since the days of Plato(Plato's allegory of the Cave). There is no stimuli outside the walls: the societal issues, the climate and environmental crises, housing crisis, gun crisis...everything the world at large is facing does not resonate with them because it does not comport to their idealized world-view. Sadly for them, they are aware that there are those outside their walls, and with their vote, they told everyone outside said walls that we have no right to live.
