That said, I fear it will get much worse under the current regime. I’m worried we will start seeing actual arrests of faculty who have been outspoken on this issue.

I’m not sure this is new, unfortunately. Faculty have long been denied tenure, fired, and disciplined for showing solidarity with Palestinians or criticizing Israel (e.g., Steve Salaita from UIUC in 2014). Progressive except for Palestine, as they say…
