You know sometimes life gets disheartening, and your faith in humanity fades. Then you see:
- entire crowd mocking a pedo
- broadcasted peaceful protests
- the felon-elect booed on the field of the most MAGA-beloved sport

Life’s not all bad. Keep it going y’all.

Sinus infection fever’s really kicking my trash, but I’m getting ideas. Good or bad I dunno, we’ll have to see how coherent it is in a couple days. But I mean hey, fever dreams and weird thoughts can make decent fiction, right? I mean, look at Dune.

I think it’s interesting where writing ideas can come from. I’ve had them from conversations, concepts, other works of fiction… it’s like anything can make a great new idea for you to explore.

So don’t think an idea is bad because it’s unusual, or has a strange origin. That’s just part of the fun.

Somewhere in between a hard magic system and a soft magic system is a non-Newtonian fluid magic system… and I desperately need me one of those. Something firm under pressure, but that flows smoothly when you let it do its thing.
