Barrett you had the perfect opportunity to say “Somehow found time to go a little Plus Ultra”. Sadly I’ll have to miss that stream. I have yet to watch S7, and I rewatch MHA from S1E1 whenever there’s a new season. Not enough time to watch 7 seasons between now and Saturday. Hope you guys have fun!

I think it looks campy. Which is honestly not an issue for Street Fighter. Since story is also the weakest part of any Street Fighter game. So a movie that’s all about your favorite SF character kicking the crap out of each other with a loose plot tying it together. Sounds like it’s Perfect!

Personally I would have preferred if this game would of just been a direct sequel to Shadow of the Tomb Raider. I liked the tone and design of that Lara much more. It sounds like it’s in the same timeline? It’s just a shame that Camilla Luddington didn’t get a send off game for her version of Lara.

Heartless, something I never would have attributed to Phil. I know he’s a suit, and he has to make tough choices. Prior to ABK though I feel like Xbox genuinely had some soul and were as consumer friendly as a console brand could be. Post ABK it feels like being pro-consumer got sent out to pasture.

At this point I don’t see Spencer or Bond getting any go ahead to do anything that might threaten Hoods 30% mandate. I mean we know now that the Game Pass price increase was because BO6 underperformed despite still selling well. So what’s gonna happen this next year now that BO7 is doing even worse?

Which would lend itself to what you said on the podcast about them not trying. Why try when all you did to turn Xbox around and win back consumer faith gets thrown under the AI Bus?

It feels like Spencer and Bond are basically puppet figures now. That they have no real power to make any decisions that aren’t in line with Hood and Nadellas marching orders. I mean in trying to hit the 30% mandate made by Hood. It feels like Phil destroyed all the goodwill he fought to win back.

Thats what happens when you fire your QA team, and are working with a super old engine. If the D3 rumors are true I hope they leave the Tiger Engine way behind!

My daughter(7) wanted to play it, but we banned it and told her it wasn’t safe. She understood because we also have chat features for games disabled unless we know the person irl. She plays Minecraft, Fortnite, Astro Bot(her first platinum), Mario games, Lego Games, SF5, and Halo co-op with me.

I know you’re up in Canada now and taxes work differently there. I have to imagine they still have a way to claim something like that as a business expense for your job. I know it doesn’t handle the initial sticker shock, but it could ease it later.

This is easily probably one of the best Hunting sims ever made. Played it on Game Pass and every time I see it on sale I am very tempted to get it. They never have like a “Ultimate” edition that gives you everything though. There’s always a pack or two left out.

With 1080 are we talking about its genre being a Snowboard Racing Game, or just a Snowboarding game? Because if it’s just Snowboarding in general there’s lots of games better than 1080 imo.

Having worked for both Game Crazy and GameStop in the past. I would say that Game Crazy was easily the better store. It’s just unfortunate that they were tied to Hollywood Video. Because when they filed for bankruptcy, Game Crazy got caught in the crossfire.

When I worked for Game Crazy we used to open new games if someone wanted to try before they bought, and we didn’t have a used copy. If that person decided not to buy the game then we would always mark the price down for anyone else who tried to purchase it. Because we opened it and played it.

I know Witcher 2 is running into that issue. In order to play you need to go into task manager and disable cpu cores for it to run. Realistically this is something that I think @cdprojektred.com need to release a patch for. Especially with Witcher interest about to pick up again thanks to Witcher 4

This is exactly why Embark needs to add a bounty system to the game. Too many deceptive opportunistic Raiders out there.

My wife was playing last night. She was playing a 20 turn game. With 3 turns to go. Mario(4th) found a hidden block with a Star, and then on the next turn picked up two Stars. He then was awarded one of the bonus stars and won the game. My wife was 1st most of the game, and then lost to RNG.

I hope that the performance is a lot better than Starfield was at launch. Especially since it should launch on the new Xbox/PS within about a year or two of their release if it’s 2028.

I spent 10+ years in Destiny after all. They definitely have their place in the space, and are great for making memories with friends. I just don’t see cosmetics as making sense in them anymore.(sorry for the long post)
