Not one but three Andrena cineraria nesting aggregations spotted today. They love these south facing walls. (Also, it was ~20C today 😵💫)

Colletes cunicularius are now emerging at the UPV/EHU arboretum. It’s nice to have such a massive aggregation close to the office.. 😅

Not just species, but new genus record for the Basque Country: Anthidiellum strigatum. A small, stocky (and cute) bee collected just outside the office [Leioa, ES], foraging on Lotus sp.
