I don’t remember the 1975 series but I would find it so interesting if any channel did something similar. I studied European history at Alevel in the 1960s so know how entwined Britain has been for centuries.

I have never thought that midwinter is a time for resolutions. You need all the comfort you can get in cold bleak weather.
