Manufacturers town hall session at @aquatictracking.bsky.social , open and anonymous questions from the community answered by the manufacturers. An interesting format that isn't often tried at these conferences, inviting the community to help shape the future of the technology!

Posted up at the @aquatictracking.bsky.social 2024 symposium! First talk is a keynote by Dr Sue Lowerre-Barbieri, who has led the iTAG network since 2014, discussing movescapes, and telemetry as a tool for fisheries management.

One of the nice things about the Now-Bad Site was how earnestly we all shared job applications and postings. Here's a marine biological/statistical PhD position at my institution, and I think it would probably mean working with me a tiny bit, at some point!

Seems more in the realm of a Simpsons gag than a serious response, yikes!

We are still mainly trying to reach folks over on the Old Site but any marine bio folks who are into animal telemetry and have questions for a small but mighty group of students and professionals can email data@oceantrack.org and grab a link to stop on by this (and most every) Thursday!
