Because our culture puts much more importance on basketball than it does science. I’m sure if we looked at all of the scholarship money given out to high school graduates to go play basketball, compared to the scholarship money given out to students pursuing a degree in the sciences, it would be 😳

Carl Sagan was an absolute hero. Neil deGrasse Tyson is our modern day equivalent. But the anti-intellectual movement has a strong frontman these days. Public and relentless ridicule is the answer! They’re fuckin stupid and we know it. It’s time we glorify intelligent people. MAGA cannot survive
