Recently, I've been watching football with some friends and we all think this moment from the Eagles Lions game has a lot of potential. Here's the first idea that came to my mind.

Game #12 of 2025: Resident Evil: Revelations 2

I really liked this one especially two duos and how actions in Claire & Moira's campaign affected Barry & Natalia's. I didn't know about the bad ending going into this so getting that was a shock. I had to go back and replay a few parts.

Game #11 of 2025: Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire by Obsidian

Another sequel I played in 2025 that gave the party a ship to sail around the world and let them be/fight pirates and this might be my favorite. Really liked the turn-based mode and the new party members especially Maia.

Game #10 of 2025: Hollow Knight by Team Cherry

Decided to replay this before starting Silksong and also wanted to fight the true final boss as well. I didn't realize just how many things I had failed to uncover my first time playing it. I nearly doubled my playtime.

Game #9 of 2025: SteamWorld Heist II by Thunderful Gothenburg

Another great entry in the series. I started like a week ago and couldn't put it down. I had so much fun heading out to sea looking for the next mission. I also liked the class/skill system for its interesting combos.

Game #8 of 2025: Golden Sun: The Lost Age by Camelot

The Golden Sun has set. Replaying this with Hao on Golden Sunday over at @atojconnections.bsky.social has been a great time. Played this game so many times as a kid and I think it really holds up. Can’t wait to play Live A Live next. #beatit2025

Game #7 of 2025: Pepper Grinder by Ahr Ech

A fun game I could beat in a few hours while I play through longer ones and ones that never end. Fun design and overall gameplay. Some levels were more frustrating than difficult and felt like it wanted more precise control that it gave me.

I got to meet one of my favorite VTubers @novaaokami.bsky.social at Anime Expo and show her how I’m such a big fan of her…. I mean how I have such a big fan of her.

I got 47 or 48. I marked Sailor Moon with a question mark. I've seen all of Crystal but if you meant only the original anime, I don't think I saw enough of that. Nearly had Paradise Kiss too. It was a showing at my anime club but my bus was late the night we saw the last episodes.

Going by marking all the ones I've watched at least one season of if there are multiple, I have 59 or 60 depending on if Legend of the Galactic Heroes includes DNT or just the original.

I still don't know why I haven't watched the original Love Live anime after watching every other season.

Exactly 100 / 227.
I think you can see that I started watching simulcasts somewhere around 2012 and after that, I'm a bit more consistent per year than I expected. Still a few big ones I missed that I need to go back and watch.

And in one of the episodes, I mentioned having an Alice in Wonderland themed clear file I got from the CLAMP exhibit at Animate last year. I don’t think it’s the same outfit as in Tokyo Babylon but it’s still very cool.

And fittingly, when I finally got home from Anime Boston the package with the final volume of @yenpress.com ‘s new edition of Tokyo Babylon was waiting for me. I’ll have to sit down and read through it again soon.

First panel at Anime Boston is done. I was so nervous and accidentally went over time but I think everyone had a lot of fun.
May 24, 2025 at 5:32 PM
Anime Boston finally put out the schedule today. In addition to doing press for my friends at @atojconnections.bsky.social, I’ll also be hosting my first panel at AB. If you’re at the con on Saturday and love game shows, come check out Anime Connect at 12 PM in Hynes 309.

Game #6 of 2025: Pillars of Eternity by @obsidian.net

I had been meaning to finish this for years and now, I wish I hadn't waited so long. I'm still iffy on real-time with pause combat but I loved everything else. Already bought the sequel when it was on sale and will start that soon. #beatit2025

Game #5 of 2025: Picross e3

I think I’m getting better at the Mega Picross puzzles but I still struggled with a few of them. Still a great puzzling time. I’ll have to pick up more of the games soon. #beatit2025

Game #4 of 2025: Blasphemous 2 by The Game Kitchen

This is another sequel that takes the solid base of the original expands on that and polishes the rough parts. More weapons, easier access to movement abilities and fewer sudden deaths while platforming make for a great time.

Game #3 of 2025: Shadows of the Old World by Me?

D&D campaign came to an end tonight. My horror-ish plot turned comedic after my players all made construct characters immune to everything I tried. I rolled with it and we all had a fun time.

Game #2 of 2025: Blasphemous by the game kitchen

I decided to replay it after buying the sequel. I got endings A and B but not C. It's a great, dark 2D metroidvania. Platforming was sometimes frustrating but I love the art and how it all draws from Spanish Catholicism. On to the sequel #beatit2025

Game #1 of 2025: Indiana Jones and the Great Circle by Machine Games

This has everything you could want out of an Indiana Jones game: ancient areas to explore, artifacts and hidden histories, action and plenty fascists to punch. I'll eventually go back to collect everything I missed.

Game #25 of 2024: Dredge by Black Salt Games

The basic cycle of fishing/dredging, selling and upgrading was very compelling like I was always about to get something new. Wish the end of the game had been a little longer. Felt like I just made my choice, went to the spot and it was over
