Yall I grew up with Avatar, but I was not excited for this set. These cards though?? A LOT of interesting designs, unique build arounds, and some of the best commanders of the year?
Avatar is an all-timer folks. What a perfect way to end the year w/ FF, Tarkir, and EOE.

I get where everyone is coming from on the "Hybrid mana shouldnt change" thing, but I personally would be SO EXCITED to make tons of new Companion decks. Imagine getting to put Keruga in tool box, or doing a mono red deck with Obosh as the companion! If you dont like the change, just dont use it!

This is likely why, the new token they make is a counter. They have represented mutations with counters before (Adapt/every other simic mechanic on ravnica)
