I've done several short stories at the last minute that got me into publications by the skin of my teeth. So I know I have done that in the past, and maybe the Muse will work like that again with this. Or maybe it's waiting for me to finish the beta reads. I'm open to possibility. #WeeknightWriters

Not to come off as a kiss-up, but I found the criticism fair and balanced. Where I succeeded, where I didn't. A lot of time and nuance in that. THANK YOU!
As for the inspiration, I wanted to share that without being too maudlin. I could definitely have gone on. My natural tendency is to sprawl.
