J.D. Blackwood is a reclusive writer who lives in a secluded cottage in the Cotswolds with a pet ferret named Moriarty. He is rumored to be a former MI6 agent, a disgraced aristocrat, and a champion chess player, but the truth remains shrouded in mystery.
Not to shabby for a debut novel #writers #crime #readers

Incidentally if you happened to have purchased it you have my heartfelt thanks. So thank you. And I love you. Every single one of you.

One day you will see these squirrels being interviewed in a documentary entitled "The Secret Lives Of Squirrels"
This is my “‘Shop Dat Squirrel” Thread, where I index all my photoshopped squirrel photos, because at this point I have too many to keep track of via search. (a thread 🧵👇🏻)

It's sad that television doesn't invest in #mystery stories nowadays. There is nothing more pleasurable for me that trying to figure out a whodunnit before the detective.

Putting this out into the world: I would like to do more book covers. Especially genre fiction.

Release day, never has a man been more terrified of what comes next.

What makes a good suspense novel? It's all about the slow burn, the drip-drip-drip of tension that keeps you on the edge of your seat, your heart pounding like a drum solo. Think Hitchcock, Du Maurier, Lehane – masters of the craft.

Starting to get nervous as release day approaches. I have always been a big reader but never knew if I could write.

Crime writing is the only way you can plan a murder and get away with it.

He's a Grosvenor, not a gunslinger.

Lancelot Grosvenor, fresh out of Cambridge with a criminology degree and a trust fund, has joined the ranks of Scotland Yard.
