I'm pretty sure that if Trump directed a follower to murder an opponent within DC he could a) preemptively pardon the person, b) be deemed unprosecutable per DOJ policy regarding sitting Presidents, c) be immune from prosecution after his term per the Supreme Court, or d) pardon himself.

So it looks like the new House in January will be 220-215 Republican by election results but with vacated seats will actually be 217-215 at least until April. Lots of opportunities for folks like you and me to make a difference with our voices.
