It isn't sarcastic. It's how he gets things done. Putting his name on a bill is a good way to get everyone to call it communist. Then it goes nowhere. So working behind the scenes is he he gets it done.

Ignorant I see. He was arrested while chained to 2 black folks demonstrating against segregation. He led sit ins for the desegregation of student housing. He served as chairman of the Congress of Racial Equality. That's just off the top. We won't get into all he's done for the gay community.

They call him the King of Amendments for a reason. He has done more for this countries minority communities than you ever will.
