I like the outdoors, and tax policy
Well if they get the first challenge correct, they do get two challenges. I just don’t like that the second challenge costs them the timeout even if they are correct.

For me it’s, please send me ALL pages of the CP2000.
Thanks. Can you please send me ALL pages?

This used to annoy me so much. This year I’m over it and don’t care. They will get an email from me on Sunday evening asking if they’d like me to file an extension so they can have more time to review.

This is the first year I’ve gotten over the not signing issue & not letting it bother me. I know my system sends automated reminders. So on Sunday night I’m sending stragglers an email asking if I should file an extension for them so they can have more time to review.

All. The. Time.

I’m guessing the 401 didn’t have much of an effect. Lowers your tax liability but also lowers your withholding. Most likely, bc I’m seeing a lot of this, the withholdings just aren’t keeping up.

OK. What is your definition of owe taxes? Meaning, how much? And what was it compared to last year?

Not sure I understand the transaction. Did you do a Roth conversion by any chance?

So when I’m the one calling asking why the beginning balance is way off from last years ending capital balance….and why they don’t you have the partner’s retirement in 13R - I shouldn’t be making those calls?

OMG. This is me every day. It’s like every client thinks I don’t have any other clients but them.

I can confirm this. A. LOT.

I just booked a snow cat ski day w my daughter on 3/31, bc time w her is more important than tax returns.

Just sent. I’m open to calls on tools that are valuable.

So it’s pretty cool, but not entirely sure how I’d use it. Was hoping to make it easier for W4 reasons and dumping tax tools.

Interesting. Gonna check it out.

I was guessing no bc I know retirement is the actual date of 59.5. Looking at IRC 408 “which is made on or after the date the individual…has attained 70.5”

I’ve been having struggles with “have all users sign.” Anyone else?

I think the AICPA has a chart on the different states for this but I don’t have access

Will be my first year too. Sending next week.

And thank you for your insight!

I dig down that too. That’s why my brain says no. But the yes is coming from how loosely goosey they are with that term for some props. i.e. Medicare premiums. Logically that makes the most sense though.

I’ve been digging through it. Everything about qualified and nonqual premiums seems to be only if one has ER sponsored premiums. Everything else leads me to believe it’s 100% deductible in this case. I’m just questioning myself here.
