Yesterday the StAnD project celebrated a major milestone: the first meteor tracking camera has been successfully installed on a school in France: Collège Frédéric Mistral today in Nice.

After sharing lunch at the school canteen, we worked together to install the camera on the roof and set up the tracking settings. While it took until sunset, a lot of enthusiasm, team spirit and troubleshooting got us to our goal.

Last week we were represented at the World Space Forum by Petra Rettberg, PPP, & Niklas Hedman, General Counsel. The Forum, organized by @UNOOSA, Germany, Peru & the UAE, focused on Sustainable Space for Sustainability on Earth, with 3 pillars: space traffic, debris, & resources.

Niklas chaired the session with discussions among Member States and organizations on and the way forward on the Space2030 Agenda, UNISPACE IV and the Outer Space Action 56 of the Pact for the Future adopted at the UN GA Summit of the Future in September 2024.
