This reply is basically just here to try to bury the others, but I guess I can say I'm fearfully optimistic about it? I hope my son boy is badass, I hope Yoshi acts like a wild animal, and I hope there's less unimersive licensed music.

As for Yoshi, I love the blending between the white and green on his body, and the subtle scales. I will have to get used to the weird scute ridges on his saddle. I know in modern day it's supposed to be a shell, but I'll never see it that way as an oldhead lol.

I really hope that the direction chosen for him isn't just, whiny child voice/behaviour, and that he is treated with the same respect as every other character so far! As flawed as the first movie is, I think the characerisation is pretty alright (if a little bland).
