So, I’ve talked in church about “my friend the octopus” during my series on gratitude this month. After service yesterday, one of my members hands me a gift bag with “a little thrift store find.” It gets pride of place next to my labyrinth. ❤️

Slipping dogs their meds in some peanut butter is pretty common, but it was just yesterday that I realized there is ABSOLUTELY NO RULE that says I couldn't also do that for myself. And now I'm furious at how much I've missed out on that opportunity.

The 1st UU Berks County contingency was out strong today. An estimated 4000 out on the streets.
I saw no fascist counterprotesters, no Trump 2028 flags on oversized pickups trolling up and down the streets. There was a cacophony of solidarity car horns going by instead.
