In September, I was holding hands with poetry's heart
50 years ago in Chile, the US worked to end the presidency of Allende and helped usher in the dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet, more than 3,000 people would be disappeared/killed, some 38,000 would become political prisoners, victims of torture (NPR).
