US military families like mine, all over this Country (Red/Blue or in between) are confused and horrified by this drastic change in alliances - joining with Russia and abandoning European allies is a terrible mistake that must be stopped.

Generations of US military members and their families have sacrificed to protect and stand strong with our allies to protect democracy and freedom across the globe. This US President is abandoning our allies.

What Trump is doing is not about making a tough peace deal with Russia, recalibrating NATO, or protecting Ukraine’s democracy. He is setting the terms of a new alliance and relationship with the Russian dictatorship — directed against the European democracies.
