Why do you celebrate Christmas? For the birth of Jesus? Do you think the story can really be true? A baby was born in a manger from a young woman still a virgin. A supernatural star in the heavens appeared to shepherds in the field announcing stupendous good news! Great learned men studied prophecies and came from the east to worship the baby. Jesus Christ, the son of God was born. The events were witnessed and recorded in sacred scrolls. Even verses in the Koran talk about the birth of Jesus Christ (Qur'an, Surah 3:38-48).

Ho Ho Ho! Merry Christmas! We are going to say that to a whole bunch of people in the next few weeks. Our hearts are going to be lighter, filled with light. But afterward? How can we carry the merry beyond Christmas Day? Sure, we'll have a merry time with our friends and families. We'll unwrap presents, and eat too much turkey. We'll take time off from work, and focus on our loved ones. It will be great fun! But then the holidays end, and the merry days are over. How can we carry that warm lovable spirit into the new year?
