I would ague the toxicity is actually well founded. Liars like Patel will contradict themselves whenever it suits their immediate need. If the is any connection between the bomber and the FBI, that fact will not have in any way informed Patel’s earlier, deliberate lies.

Impeachment isn’t enough, clearly. That’s already happened twice. The Senate, as currently constituted, won’t convict. More importantly, trump and the MAGATs have to be defeated at the polls or we really haven’t accomplished anything.
