I love the color combo, the stitch she used was a great choice and it's a very stylish piece. Great job! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Also this is for making a hoodie and the stitch is called the alpine stitch which is just an alternating US double crochet and front post double crochet.

I'm not sure exactly. This is fingering weight yarn and the pattern says, depending on what size you make, anywhere between 2600 to 4500 yards. So, maybe 3200 yards for me? We'll see. The cone should be more than enough though so I can have leftover yarn for matching socks or something. :)

You are giving evil men in another part of the world who don't even know you exist the power to take away your joy? Take it back right now! Your joy is yours, not theirs! Never let the bastards get you down! That hedgehog needs a friend, maybe a whole family. Do not let him glow in the dark alone!

New fear unlocked 😅 There's an owl that lives in my neighborhood and I see him many evenings on my walks and he's so big I am afraid one day he'll silently swoop over and scalp me. I will not be wearing my crochet beanie around him after this 🤣

How are you able to take high quality pictures of nebulae from your backyard?

If you throw a 🧶 emoji onto your crochet posts it will show up more of those feeds :) Beautiful work!

Whaaatttttt that's incredible!!! I never would have thought to use a variegated yarn to simulate an aurora 😱🤯 stunning work!

Good because I don't want to work on my Afghan or the pillow I need to finish in time for Christmas and would much rather start the hoodie I just bought new yarn for 🤣

😲 and now I want my first amigurumi to be the David or some other beautiful marble statue 😍

I'd love to see it mounted on one of those fancy wooden boards real taxidermy heads are usually mounted on 😂
