Went and saw They Live tonight on a big screen. It's an 80s movie in ever aspect but its central message of humanity losing itself to greed and selfishness is eternal and especially poignant today. Plus the 2025 callout as the year the aliens projected total global control hit like a ton of bricks.

Let's play some Genesis I've only played the SNES version of RoboCop vs Terminator. This is a whole different level of 90s edge. Going into the settings to lower the difficulty because Genesis games tended to to hard and ... Wimpy. The other options Normal and Killer. Fine ... Wimpy it is.

Didn't get out much this weekend because of snow and apprehension about iced roads but did go out for breakfast Sunday to a spot off the river. After eating I always stop at this little river park and just sit and watch the Mississippi for a while. It's always very calming.

The markup on my childhood toys is kind of ridiculous. But I don't regret opening them and playing with them when I was a kid. But going through vintage toy markets sometimes makes me wish I'd at least kept the boxes.

The dynamic of MechaGodzilla and Titanosaurus has always amused me. MG unleashes an arsenal decimating the city into rubble. Then Titano just bends over, shows his whole ass and waves a fan on his tail blowing debris around. Then he stands next to MG like ... yeah and don't come back for seconds!

Local pinball bar here in Memphis did a 'cosmic pinball' night and you know what, I'm a fan. Definitely needed a night out to unwind a little.
