I’m not an Azure expert, but doesn’t azure support OTLP?
I know that Microsoft is one of the biggest contributors to OTel, maybe it would worth checking that out.

You can use the `opentelemetry-distro` with an exporter.
Those are just 2 packages.
Then you start your app with:
```
RUN opentelemetry-bootstrap -a install
ENTRYPOINT [ "opentelemetry-instrument", "python", "app.py" ]
```
