DYK? The Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR) is kinda a big deal. For 65 years, the MMWR provided weekly, real-time data & analysis about disease outbreaks & emerging health threats. The MMWR's continuous stream of data-driven information -the voice of the CDC- was stopped in January 2025.

The CDC is actively involved in protecting the homeland. One of the most important ways we do that is through participation in WHO’s Global Outbreak and Response Network.
