1. Democrats did try to implement tighter boarder policies but were blocked by republicans at the behest of an out of office trump as he planned to portray democrats as 'doing nothing'
2. The border has been secure, if he means 'no crime coming in' then trump hasnt either

I think they are very close to reaching that point, both statistically speaking and the fact that they are getting increasingly emboldened.
I just hope if they do something illegal and 'find out' the news doesn't try to portray them (incorrectly) as some fallen hero.

That is why I mentioned their senior leadership team really needs to ve replaced, they may have been great for the 90s and 2000s but it is a new era of politics, even Hakeem probably shouldnt be part of thst leadership team as he was handpicked by Pelosi an extension of her outdated views.

Those people are by and large going to be mostly to some degree ideologically aligned with democrats.
Though ill admit senior leadership in the democratic party doesnt have a great track record, the old guard needs younger blood leading to reflect the views of working class leftists.

He must be used to doing stuff like this it's one of the first times i've seen one of them do something like this without a mask on. Perhaps the lack of consequences has made them become complacent? Historically speaking complacency tends to bite people guilty of it.
