I don’t think anyone uses social media for its original intention anymore. It’s for adverts and people desperately trying to go viral for their 5 minutes of fame. I wish we could go back to life before it existed.

I have a lot of family in Yorkshire. Dad’s side, and growing up people often thought that’s where i came from. Now my accent is unplaceable and just genetically northern 😂 i lived in Manc 4 years. Loved it there.

Oh i see 😂 well it sounds like you do plenty of training so you will be fine. And i think this was his second ultra. First 53km in Snowdonia was about 7hrs 30, but the Lakes one was 10 hrs 13. Said in the Lakes you couldn’t run in a lot of places cos of rocks and the landscape so he was slower.

Oh wow. Very impressive. He has his favourite ones in his office, and then a load more in the garage in his little gym wardrobe cos there isn’t enough room for them all 😂

I just asked him and he said he’s already done, like it’s a peasant task 😂 he likes his medal collection to be varied so he looks for random places in the country he hasnt done yet. As for me, i don’t do well with running 😂 i’d barely manage 5k
